Pilperomi colusifolia thrives in warm, humid, and semi-shaded environments. It is shade-tolerant but not cold-hardy. It can withstand some drought but dislikes strong direct sunlight. It prefers high temperatures and humidity, as well as loose, fertile, and well-draining soil. Propagation by division is like giving the plant a “family reorganization,” typically done in spring and autumn. When the pot is filled with little plants, or when new shoots emerge from the base of the mother plant, it’s time to act. Gently remove the plant from the pot, shake off the soil from the roots, and then divide it into several smaller groups or plant the new shoots separately. Remember to treat the roots of the mother plant and new shoots with care, just like precious treasures!

Propagation by cuttings is like conducting a “cloning experiment” for plants, and it comes in two forms: stem cuttings and leaf cuttings.
For stem cuttings, it’s best to choose branches with terminal buds. In April to June, select robust, two-year-old terminal branches that are 6 to 10 centimeters long, with 3 to 4 nodes and 2 to 3 leaves. Cut just below a node at 0.5 centimeters, then place the cuttings in a ventilated, shady spot to let the cut ends dry slightly.
Keyin, kesmalarni barg mog'or, daryo qumi va oz miqdordagi yaxshi tashlangan organik o'g'it aralashmasida eking. Drenaj uchun pastki qismida sayoz qozondan foydalaning. Kesishlar 3 dan 4 santimetr chuqurlikda joylashtirilishi kerak va poydevor kesish va tuproq orasiga mahkam yopish uchun ehtiyotkorlik bilan bosilishi kerak.
Suv yaxshilab, keyin idishni salqin, soyali yopiq hududga joylashtiring, tuproq namligini namlik 50% bilan ushlab turing. Agar harorat yuqori bo'lsa, siz o'simlikning nozik püskürtma shishasi bilan tuman va ildizlar taxminan 20 kun ichida paydo bo'ladi!
Leaf cuttings are like performing “leaf magic.” In April to June each year, select mature leaves with petioles from the middle and lower parts of the plant. After letting them dry slightly, insert the petioles at a 45° angle into a shallow pot filled with perlite, about 1 centimeter deep, and keep the soil moist. Under conditions of 20°C to 25°C, roots will form in about 20 days after planting. However, avoid covering the pot mouth with plastic film or glass to retain moisture, as this can cause the leaves to rot and ruin the effort!
